Bryson’s F.U.E.L. is a 501© 3 dedicated to providing hope and support to those who are touched by childhood cancer, not matter the age of the child. It makes things feel a little better when I can say, “I know exactly what you are going through!” Our mission is carried out through three unique programs.

• Reach out to families through the Children’s Hospitals by providing toys and blankets to children in the hospitals. As well, we try to buy a netbook for older children if they do not have one, who remain In-Patient for an extended period of time, so they can remain caught up with school and stay in contact with friends.

• Providing spiritual and financial support to struggling families through the clinic, to provide gas cards, dining cards, co-pay assistance and toys.

• Working TOGETHER with families to do fundraisers to bring awareness & support for children right here in our own communities, that we may not even be aware are fighting this battle.

Our goal is to be able to partner with other Childhood Cancer Foundations and to form other chapters of F.U.E.L. in areas that need our help and to raise awareness of the lack of medical funding for childhood cancer research.

• Each day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer

• Although cure rates are steadily increasing, 35% of children cancer patients will die.

• Cancer remains the number one disease killer of children; more than genetic anomalies, cystic fibrosis, and AIDS combined

• Childhood cancer is not a single disease, but rather many different types that fall into 12 major categories. Common adult cancers are extremely rare in children, yet many cancers are almost exclusively found in children

Bryson’s F.U.E.L. (Families United to Eliminate Leukemia) was founded in 2011, when our 4 yr old son Bryson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We knew, like so many other parents, this would be a long & hard journey. Bryson’s treatment will last 3 ½ years if all goes well. Talking to other families going through this same fight, we knew our foundations purpose….To encourage and empower others, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.
